  • Confidentiality is maintained in each of your sessions. I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office for UK GDPR. 

     

    There may be times where I am required to breach confidentiality, which will be outlined in our contract. These include risk to yourself or others. I also discuss client work with my clinical supervisor for guidance.

  • BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics require that I maintain your confidentiality and keep information about you safe and secure. Engaging in regular training and supervision also maintains these standards. Clinical notes are also stored securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018).

  • I have professional indemnity insurance via Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers, providing protection to both myself and my clients.

  • I am currently on maternity and will be returning to work Autumn 2025. I am happy to receive emails and welcome any questions you may have in the meantime.

  • Sessions are charged at £70. I accept payment via bank transfer.

  • NICE guidelines recommend between 8-16 sessions, but I am also able to provide further sessions if required. 

     

    An understanding of your main difficulties and provisional goals for therapy will also help to give an estimate of how many sessions may be required. I would be happy to discuss this further by offering a free introductory call.

  • I provide treatment to adults 18+.

     

    I work with self-funded clients and also insurance agencies. 

     

    Please check the difficulties you are having (condition/s) are covered by your insurance provider and any excess.

  • A functional disorder is an umbrella term for a group of recognisable medical conditions. Diagnosis can be tricky due to there being physical symptoms without a clear physical cause. It can often entail a long process of elimination entailing tests, scans and countless referrals. The lack of clarity and certainty can impact mental health.   

  • No. I offer treatment to anyone 18 years and above, and work with a range of mental health difficulties. 

     

    I also have additional training in long-term health conditions (including functional conditions) and can provide support to individuals experiencing difficulties in managing their physical health, alongside their mental health 

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies Practice (High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) recognised and accredited by the BABCP.

     

    Masters in Research (MRes) in Psychology – research in Neuropsychology.

     

    Masters of Science (MSc) in Foundations of Clinical Psychology.

     

    Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatments.  

     

    BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology.
